The Bombay Babylon at Central Saint Martins

This was the fashion collection that delivered my 2:1 BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing Degree from the prestigious Central Saint Martins.  Till date, it has been my biggest achievement and something I am immensely proud of. About the collection: A womenswear capsule collection of dresses, tops, skirts, jackets and coats in multicoloured tweed boucle and cotton silk embellished with sequins and textured trims.  Also featured custom-made bags, shoes and necklaces.  The inspiration: Silhouettes are taken from London's swinging sixties (A-line dresses, babydoll shifts, cut out yokes, mini skirts, round collar jackets) and are brought to life with the kaleidoscopic textures and colours of Bombay's markets. Hailing from Brownsville, Brooklyn and daughter of rock Goddess Dk Dyson (original lead singer of Living Colour, Eye and I, original writer of Madonna's "Dress You Up In My Love", and co-founder of the Black Rock Coalition)
